DETECT: A Collaborative Early Alzheimer’s Disease Initiative

The goal of DETECT is to spread awareness and provide education on Alzheimer’s disease (AD), and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) diagnosis.

DETECT is a comprehensive online resource for clinicians and patients to learn more about Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Early detection, recognition, and timely diagnosis are essential to facilitate long-term planning, lifestyle changes, and individualized treatment approaches for this progressive neurodegenerative dementia. 

We aim to raise awareness of the benefits of early detection and diagnosis of AD. By gathering available resources for cognitive assessments together and providing evolving data on existing and investigational therapies for AD, we seek to improve patient care and encourage informed shared decision-making and collaboration among patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
