DETECT ALZHEIMERS

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a serious and irreversible brain disorder that impairs memory and cognition, progressively worsening to include behavioral changes and an inability to perform simple tasks. It is estimated that AD affects nearly 7 million adults aged 65 years and older in the United States and is projected to affect a staggering ~14 million adults by 2060. AD is the most common cause of dementia, accounting for up to 80% of dementia cases. AD has a broad impact on the lives of patients and their caregivers, as well as on supporting healthcare and long-term care systems. Although there is no cure for Alzheimer’s Disease early diagnosis, adoption of healthy lifestyle changes, and advancements in Alzheimer’s Disease treatment can be beneficial in helping patients maintain brain health, improve cognitive function, and slow or delay the symptoms of their disease.
