DETECT: A Collaborative Early Alzheimer's Disease Initiative

DETECT is an all-inclusive web-based resource for clinicians and patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD).

Early detection of AD combined with a timely diagnosis of AD are critical for long-term planning, lifestyle changes, and patient-specific treatment.

The overall goal is to allow the early identification of AD and increase the understanding of this form of neurodegenerative dementia and the value that early diagnosis and treatment has shown.

By compiling key elements about analytical screening tools and pertinent information on current and future therapies for AD, our goal is to improve multidisciplinary patient care including the open communication-and collaboration-among patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
